Summer Missions ...
... is more than reaching children. It's
about God changing you! Child Evangelism Fellowship® (CEF®) has a
ministry presence all over the globe and offers you frontline
experience impacting children with the gospel of Christ in many
exotic locales. What if you could do something that could change
your life and the lives of others. Would you do it?
What if it meant leaving your family and friends,
traveling across the country or overseas. Would you go? You will be
challenged, even by something as simple as a menu written in another
language!
What if you could take the time this summer to let God use you to reach children with the Gospel. Would you?
Through this amazing opportunity, you will get to experience
challenging situations in which you will be stretched. God will use
you as you spend time each day being with Him and going for Him to
the nations.
By the end of this summer, you could know what it means to serve God full-time cross- culturally through being active on the mission field alongside veteran CEF missionaries!
Australia, Belize, Bulgaria. Burkina
Faso, Cameroon. Durban,
Ethiopia, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Guiana, Italy, Jamaica, Iceland,
Ireland, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, New Zealand, Sierra
Leone, South Africa, Taiwan, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe are just a
few of the countries our summmer
misssionaries
have visited.
Where is the Lord calling you this summer? In the USA, in addition to
Rhode Island, we have been to urban centers in
Chicago, Dallas, Little Rock, Miami, and in July of 2010: Boston!
CEF® ministers in 165 countries worldwide. Where would you like to
go this year?
Acts 1:8 " ... you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"
Some of us will be entrusted with a single child to share the Good News with. Other times he will pour out so many blesssings there will not be room for it all.
In all cases we are to " ... Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect ..." 1 Peter 3:15
