Leadership:

State Ministry Coordinator

famHello!  I'm Ray Farnum, State Ministry Coordinator for Rhode Island. My wife Joan and I have one son, Bob, his wife Debbie and two grandsons.
I became a follower of Christ in 1995 after reading a Psalm and being vividly confronted with God’s holiness and my sin. I repented of my sin that night and remain in awe of His unmerited grace to me, a sinner.
My Christian service began with preaching of the gospel through personal testimony at a men’s ministry meeting at my new church, preaching the Gospel in the city, and itinerant ministry that has continued to this day.
In October 2005, I graduated from the Children's Ministries Institute® (CMI) in Warrenton, Mo. (a requirement for all full time CEF Staff workers) and 8 months after graduation was appointed State Ministry Cordinator of Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Rhode Island, Inc.   Joan graduated from CMI in October of 2008 and serves fulll time with me in this faith based ministry.
Being full tiime missionaries with CEF® has given us many opportunities to reach children and their families with the Gospel as well as to train many others in how to also effectively reach children with the Gospel.  We partner with churches, train many, and provide local Rhode Island mission opportunities to live out the Scriptures. We'd love to come to your church and bring the ministry! Ray also does some ministry through pulpit supply. Contact me soon, and, to God the glory.
This morning, Feb. 6, 2010, after 3 months of consideration, I became signatory #419197 to the Manhattan Declaration here, and, as a minister
(Eph 3:7-10) to children, cannot be a signatory to the LoveRI's version of the Lausanne Covenant.

State Board Chairman

br_shHello! I'm Brad Lamprey, chair of the State Board of Directors for CEF of Rhode Island. My wife Sharon is also a member of the State Board. I also serve as leader of two Good News Clubs in public elementary schools in Rhode Island, in my local church and in personally reaching children through summer ministry.
