VBS Training Scheduled: Thursday, June 17, 2010
    Vacation Bible School (VBS) training will be held at Exeter Chapel, 765 Ten Rod Road (Rt. 102), Exeter, RI. from 6:00-9:00 PM. This training starts promptly at 6:00PM and isopen to Rhode Island Church VBS Team Staff. Register today by calling CEF of Rhode Island at 377-2996. Advance registration only; no "walk ins". Costs for this training are underwritten by CEF of Rhode Island.
    Curriculum: Life Saving Evangelistic Bible Lessons (Part 1 and 2) and Guiding the Child to the Savior.

  • Super Seminars Training
    We offer 28 Super Seminars to equip your evangelism team, sunday school teaching staff, vacation bible school staff, home schooling moms and dads and anyone else interested in hands on practical application of teaching skills. Super Seminar listing and Instructor information here
  • Good News Club® Training
    Usually offered in the late summer and mid-winter for those who will be participating in a Good News Club in Public Schools. Separate Elementary and Middle School tracks are available.
  • Summer Fair Training
    Offered several times a year in the summer. Provides training in how to clearly and simply share the Gospel and counsel respondees for salvation.
  • VBS/ Awana/ Sunday School Teacher Equipping
    This is offered year round as requested. Similar to Good News Club training without the administrative component necessary for running a weekly Good News Club.
  • Teaching Children Effectively™
    If you are serious about reaching children then this is the course for you.Typically offered in April by Certified CEF Instructors from New England. 3 CEU's (Continuing Education Credits) for successful completion of this 30 Hour Course.
  • Summer Missionary Training
    This 1 week intensive training is held near the last week of June in a partnership between CEF of Rhode Island and CEF of Massachusetts. Two tracks: Introductory (ages 13 and 14) and Advanced (age 15 and above). Popular with both high school and college aged students.
  • Children's Ministry Institute®

  • All of our courses are designed to equip you to reach today's children and their families for Christ.
  • We train you in how to effectively convey the Good News and provide opportunities to put that training into practice.
  • We equip you for short term local missions (as little as 4 hours)  as well as longer term missions (such as in Good News Clubs and overseas missions).
  • You are given the opportunity to demonstrate proficiency and put into practice what you learn in a course.
  • Your Rhode Island teachers are all graduates of the Children's Ministry Institute and hold "Master Teacher" certifications by CEF International.
